Dry Hire Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Cancellation Policy

  • A booking is confirmed once payment is received.

  • Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the hire start date will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the hire start date are non-refundable.

2. Equipment Return Deadline

  • All equipment must be returned by the agreed-upon date and time.

  • Late returns will incur a charge of 50% of the daily rate hire per day until the equipment is returned.

3. Equipment Condition Upon Return

  • All hired equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received.

  • Customers are responsible for checking the equipment before taking it.

4. Damage, Loss, and Repair Charges

  • If equipment is returned damaged, the customer will be charged for repair or full replacement.

  • If equipment is lost or stolen, the customer must pay for a replacement at full market value.

  • The customer is advised to handle all equipment with care and keep it secure during the hire period.

5. Security Deposit

  • A refundable deposit may be required before hire.

  • The deposit will be refunded upon safe and timely return of the equipment in its original condition.

  • Any damage or late return fees will be deducted from the deposit.

6. Collection and Delivery

  • Equipment can be collected from Bristol BS5 6XX at the agreed-upon time.

  • Delivery and pickup services are available for an additional charge.

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive or return the equipment at the agreed time.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring all equipment is used safely and correctly.

  • Equipment must not be altered, modified, or tampered with in any way.

  • The customer must store equipment securely when not in use to prevent theft or damage.

8. Late Payment Policy

  • All payments must be made before or at the time of equipment collection/delivery.

  • If additional charges arise (such as damage fees or late return fees), payment is due within 30 days of receiving the invoice.

  • Late payments may incur a 10% daily interest charge.

9. Liability Disclaimer

  • Hammer Audio is not responsible for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from the use of hired equipment.

  • The customer assumes all responsibility for ensuring proper setup and operation of the equipment.

  • Hammer Audio provides equipment in working order but is not liable for any failure or malfunction during the hire period.
